The Seagate Backup Plus Slim also allows you perform mobile backup using the Seagate Mobile Backup App. You will find a drive activity LED near the back, along with the USB 3.0 port. Unlike the Seagate Plus Fast’s smooth metallic enclosure, the Plus Slim’s body consists of a plastic build with a bright blue top cover.
The drive itself features a slick and compact design and comes with a USB 3.0 interface. The Backup Plus Slim also comes in storage capacities of 500GB and 1TB.
The company sent us the 2TB version of the storage device for review at Review Central Labs. Seagate recently launched what it claims is the world’s thinnest 2TB external hard disk drive, called Backup Plus Slim.
